Following the declaration by the Federal government that all schools in the nation will completely continue on 18th January 2021. A few schools have thought of their resumption date and prepared to begin with the 2019/2020 academic session once again.

So far 14 universities have announced their resumption and dates in Nigeria to proceed for the 2019/2020 academic session.

University students are getting back to school after a while of being out of their classes.

Below is a List of Universities and Resumption Date starting from 15th January, 2021:

  1. University of Ibadan on Friday reported that academic exercises will continue on February 22, 2021.
  2. Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria reported that it will continue on Monday, January 25th, 2021.
  3. University of Lagos has concluded that academic exercises will continue on January 25th, 2021.
  4. University of Ilorin continued academic session online on January 11, 2021.
  5. University of Jos will continue on January 22, 2021.
  6. University of Benin will continue academic session on February 1, 2021.
  7. Lagos State University has just continued and rehearsing what it called staggered resumption.
  8. University of Port Harcourt has declared that academic session will continue on February 1, 2021.
  9. Streams State University has continued academic session since January 4th, 2021.
  10. Bayero University Kano will start another academic session on January 18, 2021.
  11. Government University of Agriculture, Abeokuta will continue on January 18, 2021.
  12. Ekiti State University will start it’s academic session on January 18, 2021.
  13. Government University of Technology, Akure will start classes on January 18, 2021.
  14. University of Nigeria, Nsukka will continue on January 24, 2021.
  15. University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State continue on January 24, 2021.
